This hotel is just a short walk to the stunning Pacific Grove coastline, with attractions like Monarch Grove Sanctuary and Point Pinos Lighthouse all within a leisurely stroll of less than a kilometer, making it an ideal base for exploring Monterey and Carmel, and the room was clean and comfortable with convenient amenities like a fridge and microwave. the breakfast could offer a bit more variety, but the overall experience was fantastic.

The bathroom layout is a highlight, cleverly designed for two users. Attention to detail is essential. The hard springs in the beds and limited refrigerator functionality detract from what could be a perfectly charming getaway. There's a foundation of quality here; it simply needs a revitalization.

So, we had this weird setup with the sink outside the bathroom, which was super inconvenient. Plus, the beds felt shaky every time we moved, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. It was pretty disappointing overall.

My friends and I had the sickest time hitting up the scenic beaches and neighborhoods on California's Central Coast. Chilling by the pool after a round of golf at Pebble Beach was lit too!
Wish they had more happening nightlife options for us young party animals to keep the fun vibes going! .

The room lighting could have been brighter for a more welcoming ambiance. It would be great if the pool and jacuzzi opened earlier to cater to early-risers and maximize guest enjoyment.

Our family had an amazing time exploring the charming neighborhoods and scenic beaches of the lovely Central Coast. The spacious rooms with fireplaces and indoor gardens provided a cozy retreat after a day of outdoor fun.
In my wife's opinion, an earlier opening time for the pool and jacuzzi would make it even more family-friendly.

The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious with a fireplace, fridge, and coffee maker. Comfy beds, great breakfast, and a lovely pool area. The location was quiet and perfect for a relaxing getaway.
The rooms felt outdated and the walls were thin. Uncomfortable bed and noise from the breakfast room early in the morning.

The location was great, close to the beach, lighthouse, and other attractions in Pacific Grove. there were some issues with the room itself. The tub in our room was not working, which was disappointing after a long bike ride. The breakfast room was too small, with only 3 tables for a big hotel which made it difficult to enjoy breakfast comfortably. The room had some drawbacks as well, like a noisy environment due to its proximity to common areas and the pool area. The disturbances from other guests were a bit of a nuisance, especially late at night. the resort had a pool, spa, and jacuzzi, which were nice amenities to relax and unwind. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The property, although a bit dated, was well-maintained and clean. The breakfast offered was simple but satisfactory for a continental breakfast. The Monarch had its good points, such as its convenient location and amenities like the pool and spa.

I woke up to a fancy breakfast spread but had to cart it back to my room - how posh! Enjoyed exploring Monterey and Carmel. Got more exercise counting owls than at the gym!
Loved being serenaded by a lovely elephant stomping around the room above mine. So relaxing!

As a backpacking guest, I found The Monarch Resort to be excellent value for money. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a lifesaver for getting travel information. The on-site car park made it convenient for road trips. I loved the outdoor swimming pool, heated pool, jacuzzi, and sauna - perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The flat-screen TV in the room was a bonus for unwinding. The location close to the peaceful ocean and dining establishments was ideal.
The breakfast room was cramped, making it challenging to carry the food to our room.

the location was perfect for a quiet getaway, with a short walk to the lighthouse and shoreline. the room was spacious and clean, and the added bonus of a fireplace made it extra cozy. My kid had a great time in the hot tub and pool, and the hotel's proximity to dining options was convenient.

Loved the Queen size room, quiet location, and easy parking access. Enjoyed the hot tub and cozy fire.
